BOYCOTT RESOURCES
The US Lutheran Palestine Israel Justice Network (US-LPIJN) developed the “Boycott Planning Guide” with the goal of assisting individual ELCA members and ELCA congregations that are considering participation in boycotts of companies complicit in the Israeli occupation of the West Bank and Gaza and the genocidal attacks on Palestinians in Gaza.
The guide provides background information on ELCA policies on ending the occupation of Palestine and on ELCA policies and procedures regarding boycotts. The guide links the reader to messages from the Christians of the Holy Land related to boycotts.
The guide offers answers to key questions — Why boycott? and What to boycott? The document provides practical information on how to participate in a boycott and on additional things to do in support of ending the occupation and genocide.
Boycotting: Getting Started provides a quick overview to help you jumpstart your boycott activities.
“Boycott for Freedom“ is an inspiring and informational video resource — just 11 minutes long — regarding the USLPIJN boycott initiative. There is also a condensed version “Boycott for Freedom — An Introduction” (4 minutes, 30 seconds), and a 1-minute promotional video. Here is a description of “Boycott for Freedom.”
